Note	Suprematizmus je avantgardný abstraktný smer vzniknutý v Rusku okolo roku 1915. Založil ho Kazimir Malevič. Suprematizmus odmietal zobrazovanie reality a sústredil sa na čisté geometrické tvary a základné farby. Cieľom bolo vyjadriť „nadvládu čistého cítenia“ nad predmetným svetom.
