Zastúpené sú najmä: Londýnska veľká výstava v roku 1851, South Kensington Museum (neskôr Victoria a Albert Museum) v roku 1850, Viedenská medzinárodná výstava v roku 1891, "Film a Foto" v Stuttgarde v roku 1929, ktorú organizoval Deutscher Werkbund. V Spojených štátoch amerických organizovalo výstavy Museum of Modern Art v roku 1930, v povojnovom období výstava "The Family of Man" prešla 60 krajinami a videlo ju 9 miliónov návštevníkov a ako sa končilo 20 storočie, kurátori začali vytvárať formálne spojenia medzi fotografiou a súčasným umením.. V 21. storočí fotografická verzia následkov 9/11 je zastúpená rozhovorom s Charlesom Traubom, spoluzakladateľom "here is new york".
