V práci sú charakterizované emisie, imisie, smog, kyslé dažde a tiež skleníkový efekt. V ďalšej časti sú spracované jednotlivé látky, ktoré nepriaznivo pôsobia na životné prostredie, ako sú zlúčeniny síry, uhlíka, dusíka, ďalej tuhé a rádioaktívne látky, halogény a ich zlúčeniny. V práci sú tiež obsiahnuté škodlivé účinky látok na jednotlivé zložky krajiny, najmä na zdravotný stav obyvateľstva, živočíšstva a rastlinstva. Ďalšiu kapitolu tvoria zdroje produkujúce škodlivé látky a tiež ochrana ovzdušia a stav ovzdušia v Slovenskej republike. Cieľom práce je analýza nepriaznivého pôsobenia imisií z ekonomického hľadiska a tiež vyčíslenie ekonomickej škody v poľnohospodárstve. Autorský abstrakt: This bachelor theses deals with the study and analysis of the problem of the air pollution. In the work there are characterised such terms as emission, pollutants, smog, acid rains and also the greenhouse effect. The next part of the work is dedicated to the particular substances, which have a negative effect on the environment, such as compounds of sulphur, carbon, nitrogen, also tough nad radioactive substances, halogens and their compounds. The work describes also the harmful effects of these substances on the particular components of the environment, especially on the peoples health state, the animals and the plants. In the next chapter of the thesis the author describes the sources, which produce these harmful substances and he dedicates also to the air protection and the state of the atmosphere in the Slovak Republic. The aim of the thesis was the analysis of the harmful affect of the pollutants from the economic point of view and also the enumeration of the economic looses of the air pollution in the agriculture.
