Hlavnými myšlienkami tejto práce bolo spracovanie dostupnej literatúry a vytvorenie prehľadu o problematike, zhodnotenie a porovnanie hematologických parametrov oviec vo vybranom chove pomocou odberov realizovaných pred pastevným (jar) a po pastevnom (jeseň) období a porovnanie získaných výsledkov s referenčnými hodnotami stanovenými pre ovce a identifikácia prípadných zmien medzi obdobiami. Vzorky odobraté v obidvoch odberoch boli stanovené hematologickým analyzátorom a namerané hodnoty štatisticky spracované. Výsledné hodnoty jednotlivých zvierat a následne ich priemery boli porovnávané s referenčnými hodnotami z viacerých zdrojov. Zistili sme aj preukazný rozdiel počtu neutrofilných granulocytov a stredného objemu erytrocytov medzi jarným a jesenným odberom. Výsledky tejto práce ukazujú, že vo väčšine odobratých vzoriek sa hematologické parametre nachádzajú v rozmedzí referenčných hodnôt a väčšina výsledných priemerných hodnôt týchto hematologických parametrov sa pohybuje v referenčnom rozmedzí. Author’s abstract: The essence of hematological examinations is to obtain a complete overview of the blood parameters in the body. The main aims of this work were the processing of the available literature and the creation of an overview of the issue, the evaluation and comparison of the hematological parameters of sheep in the selected farm using samples taken before the grazing (spring) and after the grazing (autumn) season and the comparison of the obtained results with the reference values established for sheep and identification of any changes between periods. The samples taken in both samplings were determined by a hematology analyzer and the measured values statistically processed. The resulting values of individual animals and subsequently their averages were compared with reference values from several sources. A significant difference in the number of neutrophil granulocytes and the mean volume of erythrocytes between spring and autumn sampling was detected. The results of this work show that in most of the samples taken, the hematological parameters are within the range of reference values, and also the majority of the resulting average values of these hematological parameters are within the reference range.
