Anotace: V Ústavu hematologie a krevní transfuze (ÚHKT) byl zahájen program transplantací krvetvorných buněk (HCT – hematopoietic cell transplantation) v r. 1986 a do konce roku 2016 zde bylo provedeno 1 250 transplantací. V současné době jsou naše výsledky srovnatelné s výsledky transplantací na ostatních zkušených transplantačních centrech. V rámci České republiky je v ÚHKT děláno každoročně nejvíce alogenních transplantací ve srovnání s ostatními transplantačními centry v ČR, čímž významně přispíváme k tomu, že počty výkonů na 10 mil. obyvatel jsou v ČR stejné jako ve státech v západní Evropě a že tak můžeme nabídnout tuto léčebnou techniku všem pacientům, kteří ji potřebují. Výsledky HCT v ÚHKT jsou tématem tohoto sdělení.

The hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) program at the Institute of Haematology and Blood transfusion (ÚHKT) was initiated in 1986 and 1250 transplantations had been performed by the end of 2016. Our results are currently comparable with those from other experienced transplant centres. Annually, the ÚHKT performs the highest number allogeneic HCT compared to the other transplant centres in the Czech Republic, thus significantly contributing to the fact that the number of allo-HCT per 10 mil. inhabitants is the same as in Western European states. Currently we can offer transplantation to all patients in need of this therapeutic approach in the Czech Republic. This paper presents the results of HCT performed at the ÚHKT.
