Each unit begins with a brief introductory activity, followed by reading, writing, listening, and speaking exercises, a language focus section with a variety of exercises, video-based learning, and communication activities, as well as supplementary reading. The unit concludes with a short English-Slovak vocabulary list. The language focus section lists key and frequently used terms, including those derived directly from the unit texts. As this textbook is designed for intermediate students, it includes numerous exercises to reinforce and expand their grammar knowledge and medical vocabulary.
