Jedným z veľkých problémov je i invázia rastlín – rozšírenie vegetácie mimo miesta pôvodného výskytu činnosťou človeka. Preto sa i bakalárska práca zaoberá problematikou inváznych rastlín. Konkrétnym cieľom bakalárskej práce je spracovanie problematiky inváznej dreviny pajaseň žliazkatý. Úvodná časť obsahuje definície z oblasti invázie, introdukcie a objasňuje význam a vplyv inváznych rastlín pri tvorbe ekosystému. Hlavná časť práce charakterizuje inváznu drevinu pajaseň žliazkatý (Ailanthus altissima Mill.). Pajaseň žliazkatý, nazývaný aj ako strom neba (tree of heaven), sa mimo miesta svojho pôvodného výskytu rozšíril najmä vďaka svojmu dekoratívnemu vzhľadu výsadbou v parkoch, či záhradách. Naším cieľom je podať čo najpresnejšie informácie o botanickej charakteristike, podmienkach pre život i metódach regulácie tejto dreviny. Veľká pozornosť je venovaná využitiu pajaseňa žliazkatého, ako i jeho negatívny dopad na prostredie v ktorom žijeme. Posledná kapitola je venovaná zozbieraným zaujímavostiam s ktorými sme sa stretli pri spracovaní problematiky invázne rastliny – pajaseň žliazkatý (Ailanthus altissima Mill.). Autorský abstrakt: Nowadays our Earth must face a huge amount of negative impacts, which are the result of human activities. One of the big problems is an invasion of plants – the spread of the vegetation outside its original occurrence by human activities. That is also the reason why the bachelor thesis deals with the issue of invasive plants. The specific aim of this thesis is to cover the issue of the Ailanthus altissima Mill - an invasive woody species. The introductory part includes definitions from the field of the invasion, the introduction and it explains the significance and the impact of invasive plants in the process of the creation of an ecosystem. The main part of the thesis describes the invasive woody species - the Ailanthus altissima Mill. The plant is also called a tree of heaven and it spread outside its original place of occurrence mainly thanks to its decorative appearance through the planting into parks and gardens. Our aim is to provide as precise information as possible about its botanical characteristic, conditions for life and methods of regulation of this woody species. Great attention is paid to the use of Ailanthus altissima Mill., as well as to its negative impact on the environment we live in. The last chapter notes collected curiosities, to which we came across in the process of dealing with the issue of the invasive plant - Ailanthus altissima Mill.
