S použitím prostriedkov PLF a počítačovej analýzy digitálneho obrazu realizovať hodnotenie intenzity rastu teliat a jalovíc na PD Kukučínov a vyhodnotiť výsledky merania a váženia. Pre potreby vyhodnotenia intenzity rastu bol použitý štandardný Penn State protokol využívajúci Hoffmanovu metódu pre odhad rastového štandardu. Pre stanovenie vrcholu rastovej krivky pre výškový a hmotnostný rast boli použité údaje o telesnej hmotnosti a výške dojníc na 3 laktácii. Cieľom hodnotenia bola optimalizácia rastových štandardov na základe cieľového veku pri prvom pripustení a intenzity rastu a posúdenie prínosu merania a zisťovania živej hmotnosti mladého dobytka pre prax v podobe zlepšenia úrovne chovu z chovateľského a ekonomického hľadiska. Zistili sme, že jalovice na farme rástli vyššou intenzitou aká bola stanovená v rastovom štandarde pre vybranú farmu na základe intenzity rastu mladého dobytka. Ďalej sme zistili, že v intenzite rastu jalovíc na farme existujú sezónne rozdiely, spôsobené zmenami v zložení KD a klimatickými podmienkami. Rast živej hmotnosti výraznejšie prekračoval úroveň rastového štandardu v porovnaní s relatívnou rýchlosťou rastu výšky v kohútiku. Hodnotenie intenzity rastu v odchove jalovíc holštajnského plemena predstavuje dôležitú súčasť zootechnickej práce na farme. Rýchly rast a včasné pripúšťania v podstatnej miere rozhodujú o ekonomike výroby mlieka na farme. Z hľadiska dosahovania vysokej úžitkovosti je potrebné venovať zvýšenú pozornosť výškovému rastu, ktorý v podstatnej miere determinuje chovateľskú dospelosť a rozhoduje o kapacite tela. Živá hmotnosť je v negatívnej korelácii s relatívnou úžitkovosť, preto je potrebné venovať zvýšenú pozornosť odchovu a optimalizácii manažmentu výživy jalovíc v zmysle rastového štandardu živej hmotnosti a výšky v kohútiku na farme. Správnym využívaním digitálnej aplikácie je možné dostatočne presne odhadnúť živú hmotnosť a telesnú výšku dobytka pre potreby farmy. S jej je spojená dostatočná prax a rutina pri manipulácii so živými zvieratami. Author’s abstract: The aim of the thesis was to study the current resources and knowledge in the rearing of Holstein calves and heifers. Using the means of PLF and computer analysis of digital image to carry out the evaluation of the growth intensity of calves and heifers at the Kukučínov farm and to evaluate the results of measurement and weighing. For the purpose of growth intensity evaluation, the standard Penn State protocol using Hoffmans method for growth standard estimation was used. Body weight and height data for 3-lactation dairy cows were used to determine the peak of the growth curve for height and weight growth. The objectives of the evaluation were to optimize growth standards based on target age at first insemination and growth intensity, and to assess the benefits of measuring and detecting live weight in young cattle for practice in terms of improving breeding levels from a management and economic point of view. We found that heifers on the farm grew at a higher intensity than that specified in the growth standard for the selected farm based on the growth intensity of the young stock. We further found that there were seasonal differences in the growth intensity of heifers on the farm, caused by changes in the composition of the TMR and climatic conditions. Live weight growth significantly exceeded the growth standard compared to the relative growth rate of height at the withers. The evaluation of growth rate in Holstein heifers is an important part of the zootechnical work on the farm. Rapid growth and early breeding determine to a large extent the economics of milk production on the farm. From the point of view of achieving high performance, it is necessary to pay increased attention to height growth, which essentially determines breeding age and decides on body capacity. Live weight is negatively correlated with relative performance; therefore, it is necessary to provide increased attention to rearing and optimization of nutritional management of heifers in terms of the growth standard of live weight and height at the withers on the farm. With the correct use of a digital application, it is possible to estimate live weight and body height accurately enough for the needs of the farm. It involves sufficient practice and routine in handling live animals.
