Bakalárska práca (Bc.). - Ústav hospodárskej politiky a financií FEM SPU v Nitre (v práci uvedené FEŠRR SPU) Subject-s bakalárske práce Annotation Autorský abstrakt: V bakalárskej práci sme sa venovali vymedzeniu problematiky kryptomien ako príležitosti investovania a reguláciám konkrétnych členských štátov Európskej únie. Cieľom bakalárskej práce je charakterizovať, zhodnotiť a následne porovnať súčasné právne predpisy upravujúce oblasť kryptomien vo vybraných členských štátoch EÚ so zameraním sa na Slovenskú republiku a Českú republiku so zreteľom na faktory, ktoré sú pre investorov pri svojich investičných rozhodnutiach významné. V prvej časti práce sme zadefinovali pojmy ako kryptomena, investovanie, peniaze, pričom sme sa postupne dostali k samotnému regulovaniu kryptomien a dopadov regulácií na investorov. V ďalšej časti sme analyzovali súčasné platné právne predpisy upravujúce oblasť kryptomien vo vybraných členských štátoch. Predmetom skúmania bol aj daňový aspekt a následná komparácia zistených údajov. Významnou časťou práce je analýza nových právnych predpisov upravujúcich oblasť kryptomien na nadnárodnej úrovni. Súčasťou práce je aj dopad nových predpisov EÚ na Slovenskú republiku. Za vlastný prínos do práce pokladáme aj výpočet štyroch investičných stratégií do Bitcoinu v dvoch vytýčených časových horizontoch a následné zhodnotenie najvýnosnejšej stratégie a faktorov, ktoré ovplyvnili výšku zisku. Na základe našich zistení sme mohli zhodnotiť, že medzi vybranými krajinami nie sú príliš veľké rozdiely v podmienkach investovania do kryptomien, avšak Česká republika má výhodnejšie podmienky zdaňovania zisku z kryptomien, pričom aj miera adopcie kryptomeny je v tejto krajine vyššia ako na Slovensku. V závere práce sme uviedli zistené výsledky, vyzdvihli odporúčania a potrebu šíriť povedomie a osvetu o danej problematike. Author’s abstract: Bachelor's thesis focused on defining the issues of cryptocurrencies as an investment opportunity and the regulations of specific member states of the European Union. The main aim of the thesis is to characterize, evaluate and subsequently compare the current regulations governing the field of cryptocurrencies in selected EU member states. Further special focus on Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic, considering the factors that are important for investors in their investment decisions. First part of the work defines concepts such as cryptocurrency, investing, money, while the rest of the work gradually focus the regulation of cryptocurrencies and the effects of regulations on investors. Following part, we analyzed the current regulations governing the field of cryptocurrencies in selected member states. The subject of the investigation was also the tax aspect and the subsequent comparison of the obtained data. An important part of the work is to analyze new regulations regulating the field of cryptocurrencies at the transnational level. The work further includes the impact of the new EU regulations on the Slovak Republic. Research furthermore considers the calculation of four investment strategies of Bitcoin in two defined time horizons. Besides subsequent evaluation of the most profitable strategy and the factors that influenced the amount of profit to be our own contribution to the work. Based on results, the research able to evaluate that there are not too many differences between the selected countries in terms of investing in cryptocurrencies. However, Czech Republic has more favorable conditions for taxing profits from cryptocurrencies, although the adoption rate of cryptocurrencies is higher in Czech Republic as opposed to Slovakia. In conclusion, we presented the results, highlighted the recommendations and the need to spread awareness and education about the given issue.
