Diplomová práca (Ing.). - Ústav chovu zvierat FAPZ SPU v Nitre Subject-s diplomové práce Annotation Autorský abstrakt: Cieľom diplomovej práce bolo spracovanie problematiky na tému výskytu endoparazitov v chove koní, sledovanie výskytu endoparazitov vo vybranom chove aj po odčervení a následnom spracovaní výsledkov. Časť diplomovej práce obsahuje výsledky z prieskumu o výskyte endoparazitov v chovoch koní, ktorý bol zverejnený na sociálnej sieti formou dotazníka a obsahoval otázky na výskyt endoparazitov v chovoch respondentov. Zo získaných informácií a výsledkov výskumu môžeme povedať, že najbežnejšími parazitmi u koní sú malé a veľké strongylidy, Parascaris equorum ale aj Oxyuris equi a u žriebät sa často vyskytuje aj Strongyloides westeri. Najčastejšími klinickými príznakmi, ktoré spôsobuje invázia spomínanými endoparazitmi je apatia, strata chuti do krmiva, hnačka a znížená kondícia. Faktom je, že viacero druhov týchto endoparazitov má vytvorenú rezistenciu voči odčervovacím látkam. Za celú dobu výskumu sme analyzovali 17 vzoriek od dvoch koní. Skúmanými subjektami bola kobyla vo veku 16 rokov a jej žriebä, ktorého vek bol do jedného roka. Vo vzorkách sme našli prítomnosť malých strongylidov, veľkých strongylidov a Parascaris equorum. Až v 94,12 % vzoriek sa nachádzali malé strongylidy. Veľké strongylidy sa nachádzali v 35,29 % a Parascaris equorum v 23,52 %. Podľa testu FECRT mala použitá účinná látka Fenbendazol pozitívny účinok len na malé strongylidy u žriebäťa (94,74%) a Parascaris equorum (100 %), ktoré boli zistené u oboch koní. Pri veľkých strongylidoch malo odčervenie pozitívny účinok (100%) u kobyly a u žriebäťa bolo neúčinné (75%), keďže sa nachádzalo naďalej aj po odčervení vo vyšetrených vzorkách. Invázia malými strongylidmi bola v 60 % vyšetrených vzoriek mierna, 17 % nízka, 12% vysoká a v 6 % negatívna. Pri veľkých strongylidoch bola invázia v 65 % vzoriek negatívna, 29 % nízka a v 6 % mierna. Invázia pri Parascaris Equorum bola v 76 % negatívna, v 18 % nízka a v 6 % vysoká. Úlohou prieskumu formou dotazníka bolo zistenie informácií o výskyte endoparazitóz v ich chovoch. Z výsledkov vyplýva, že až 80 % respondentov malo skúsenosti s výskytom endoparazitov v ich chove. Až 90 % respondentov používalo orálnu formu odčervenia. Preferovaným antiparazitikom bola orálna pasta s účinnými látkami Ivermectin a Praziquantel, ktorú využívalo 60 % respondentov. V 80 %-tách respondenti pravidelne striedali účinné látky avšak len 50 % odčervovalo pravidelne a to 3 až 4 krát ročne. Author’s abstract: The aim of the thesis was to deal with the problem of the occurrence of endoparasites in horse breeding, monitoring the occurrence of endoparasites in the selected breeding even after deworming and subsequent processing of the results. Part of the diploma thesis contains the results of a survey of the occurrence of endoparasites on horse farms, which was published on social media in the form of a questionnaire and contained questions about the occurrence of endoparasites on the respondents’ farms. Based on the obtained information and research results, we can conclude that the most common parasites in horses are small and large strongyles, Parascaris equorum, Oxyuris equi, and in foals, Strongyloides westeri occurs. The most common clinical symptoms caused by invasion frommentioned endoparasites are apathy, loss of appetite, diarrhoea and reduced form overall. The fact is that several species of these endoparasites have developed resistance to deworming substances. During the entire research period, we analyzed 17 samples from two horses. The research subjects were a 16-year-old mare and her under-one-year-old foal. We found the presence of small strongyles, large strongyles and Parascaris equorum in the samples. Small strongyles were found in up to 94.12% of the samples. Large strongyles were found in 35.29% and Parascaris equorum in 23.52%. According to the FECRT test, the active ingredient Fenbendazole had a positive effect only on small strongyles in the foal (94.74%) and Parascaris equorum (100%), which were found in both horses. Deworming from large strongyles had a positive effect on the mare (100%) but showed ineffective on the foal (75%) as it was still present even after deworming in the examined samples. Invasion by small strongyles was moderate in 60% of the examined samples, low in 17%, high in 12% and negative in 6%. For large strongyles, the invasion was negative in 65% of the samples, low in 29% and moderate in 6%. Parascaris Equorum invasion was negative in 76%, low in 18% and high in 6%. The aim of the survey in the form of a questionnaire was to find out information about the occurrence of endoparasitosis on the respondents’ farms. The results show that up to 80% of respondents have had experience with the occurrence of endoparasites in their breeding. Up to 90% of respondents used the oral form of deworming. The preferred antiparasitic tool was an oral paste with the active ingredients Ivermectin and Praziquantel, which was used by 60% of respondents. 80% of the respondents regularly alternated the active substances, but only 50% dewormed regularly, 3 to 4 times a year.
