Diplomová práca (Ing.). - Ústav európskych politík a verejnej správy FEŠRR SPU v Nitre Subject-s diplomové práce Annotation Autorský abstrakt: Diplomová práca sa zaoberá koncepciou Smart city ako cesta k udržateľnosti mesta. Hlavným cieľom je analyzovať tri piliere konceptu Smart city, analyzovať vybrané dáta Smart Trnavy a odporučiť ako riešiť problémy udržateľnosti mesta. Práca je obsahovo zameraná na analýzu a komparáciu indikátorov mesta Trnava. Analýzu a následnú komparáciu indikátorov sme v diplomovej práci uskutočňovali hlavne prostredníctvom strategických dokumentov, dát zo Smart city indexu a dát zo Štatistického úradu Slovenskej republiky. Výsledková časť práce obsahuje hodnotenie troch pilierov Smart city ako ich definuje OECD, a to podľa strategických dokumentov v meste Trnava a analýzu vybraných dát Smart Trnavy. Na základe analýzy a hodnotenia sme zistili, že indikátory a dáta Smart Trnavy majú kolísavý trend a na tento aspekt vplýva mnoho faktorov. Napriek tomu patrí mesto Trnava na Slovensku medzi vyspelejšie inteligentné mestá, ale v porovnaní so zahraničnými mestami zaostáva, pretože vo svojich strategických dokumentoch nereflektuje mnoho dimenzií, cieľov a indikátorov konceptu Smart city. Author’s abstract: The diploma thesis deals with the concept of Smart City as a path to the city’s sustainability. The main goal is to analyze the three pillars of the Smart City concept, to analyze selected Smart Trnava data and to recommend how to solve the city's sustainability problems. The content of the diploma thesis is focused on the analysis and comparison of the indicators of Trnava city. The analysis and subsequent comparison of indicators in the diploma thesis were carried out mainly using the strategic documents, data from the Smart City index and data from the Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic. The result part of the work contains an assessment of the three pillars of Smart City as defined by the OECD, according to the strategic documents in the city of Trnava. Additionaly, the result part contains an analysis of selected Smart Trnava data. Based on the analysis and evaluation of the Smart Trnava we found out that the data have a fluctuating trend. This aspect is influenced by many factors. Despite this fact, the city of Trnava is one of the most advanced Smart Cities in Slovakia, but it lags behind compared to foreign cities because it does not reflect many dimensions, goals and indicators of the Smart City concept in its strategic documents.
