Diplomová práca (Ing.). - Ústav poľnohospodárskej techniky, dopravy a bioenergetiky TF SPU v Nitre Subject-s diplomové práce Annotation Autorský abstrakt: Cieľom diplomovej práce bolo podrobnejšie si rozobrať možnosti využitia biouhlia z biomasy, konkrétne z drevných štiepok vŕby košikárskej zo školského podniku v Kolíňanoch. Biouhlie bolo použité ako substrát na pestovanie uhoriek siatych nakladacích, odroda Charlotte F1 a uhoriek siatych šalátových, odroda Superstar F1. Biouhlie bolo zmiešané so substrátom v koncentráciách 0 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % a 25 %. Author’s abstract: The aim of the diploma thesis was to analyze in more detail the possibilities of using biochar from biomass, specifically from wood chips of the basket willow from the school farm in Kolíňany. The biochar was used as a substrate for the cultivation of sown pickling cucumbers, variety Charlotte F1 and sown salad cucumbers, variety Superstar F1. Biochar was mixed with the substrate at concentrations of 0 %, 5 %, 10 %, 15 %, 20 % and 25 %. The preparation of the substrates mixed with biochar was followed by sowing of the cucumbers. The focus of this study was also to investigate how cucumber plants respond to water retention. The study was carried out over a period of 55 days. During this time, we have seen that the given biochar ratios have a real effect on the growth of the seedlings. For sown pickling cucumbers, the 20% biochar ratio had the greatest effect on growth, but the 10% biochar ratio was close behind. For sown salad cucumbers, the 5% soil biochar ratio was clearly the most helpful for growth.
