Úvodná časť obsahuje základné pojmy a definície z tejto oblasti. Hlavná časť práce obsahuje rozdelenie elektrární podľa zdroja využívanej energie, paliva potrebného pre výrobu elektrickej energie. V práci sú sústredené základné parametre elektrární, inštalované výkony a roky uvedenia do prevádzky. Veľká pozornosť je venovaná prenosovej, riadiacej a distribučnej sústave a jej rozdeleniu na jednotlivé časti. Ďalej sa práca zaoberá analýzou inštalovaných výkonov po jednotlivých rokoch. Kapitola modernizácia elektrární je hlavne zameraná na jadrové a tepelné elektrárne. Ukončením práce sú prognózy do budúcnosti a podielu jednotlivých zdrojov na výrobe elektrickej energie. Autorský abstrakt: The thesis deals with the topic of producing electric energy in Slovakia. The introduction includes basic notions and definitions from this area. The main part of the thesis contains the typology of power plants according to the source of the energy used and the fuel needed for the production of electric energy. In the thesis are described basic parameters of power plants, the power plant performance and the year the power plants started to operate. The author paid attention to transmission systems, management systems and distribution systems and its division into units. The thesis analyzes also the installed power plant performance with regard to the time of usage. The chapter Modernization of Power Supplies is dealing with atomic and thermal power stations. Final part of the thesis contains the prognosis regarding the share of electric energy sources on the production of electric energy.
