Bakalárska práca (Bc.). - Ústav krajinnej architektúry FZKI SPU v Nitre Subject-s bakalárske práce Annotation Autorský abstrakt: Cieľom bakalárskej práce je hodnotenie drevín mestského parku v Žiline, v prímestskej časti Závodie. Práca je zameraná na dendrologický prieskum s návrhom opatrení na zlepšenie súčasného stavu drevín. V úvode práce sa definuje zeleň a jej význam, parky, hodnotenie drevín a dendrologický prieskum, ochranu prírody a krajiny a ošetrovanie drevín. Metodická časť je zameraná na použitý materiál a celkový postup práce, základne informácie mesta a prírodne pomery. Výsledková časť pozostáva z textovej časti a výkresovej dokumentácie. Na základe výsledkov sme zistili, že na sledovanom území máme 55 stromov a 43 krov. Zistili sme, že dominantným druhom je Tilia cordata Mill. s počtom jedincov 23 kusov. Naopak najmenej jedincov majú Malus sylvestris Mill., Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco, Salix alba L.. Z ochranárskeho hľadiska je pozorovaná zeleň na dostatočnej úrovni pričom percento zdravých stromov a krov je na úrovni 78,18%. Z hľadiska stability sa na pozorovanom území nachádza iba 1 jedinec so zhoršenou stabilitou, pričom ostatné druhy majú výbornú stabilitu. V najväčšom počte sme zaznamenali výskyt dospelých stromov a v najmenšom počte senescentné stromy. Dominantné postavenie majú domáce druhy. V rámci výškového členenia sú najpočetnejšou skupinou dreviny s výškou 6 – 10 metrov. Medzi najviac sa vyskytujúce druhy patrili strednoveké dreviny a medzi najmenej vyskytujúce sa patrili krátkoveké dreviny. Na základe zistených defektov na drevinách boli navrhnuté vhodné výruby a rezy. Author’s abstract: The aim of the bachelor's thesis is the evaluation of trees in the city park in Žilina, in the suburban part Závodie. The thesis is focused on dendrological survey with proposal of measures to improve current state of trees. In the beggining of the thesis, flora and its importance is defined, parks, hardwood trees assessment and dendrological survey are explained together with nature and landscape protection and care. The methodological part focuses on the sources used and overall work process, basic information about the city and its nature conditions. The final part consists of a writen part and drawings. Based on the results we found that there are 55 trees and 43 shrubs in the monitored area. We found that the dominant species is Tilia cordata Mill. with 23 trees. On the other hand, Malus sylvestris Mill., Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirb.) Franco, Salix alba L. have the least number of individuals. From the conservation point of view, the observed greenery is at a sufficient level, with the percentage of healthy trees and shrubs at the level of 78.18%. In terms of stability, there is only 1 individual with disturbed stability in the monitored area, while the other species have excellent stability. We recorded the largest amount of adult trees and smallest quantity of senescent trees. The dominant species are native. Within the height division, the most numerous group are tree species with a height of 6 to10 metres. The most occuring species were the average living trees and the least occuring were the short living species. Based on the defects found on the trees, suitable treatments, cuttings and cut downs were suggested.
