Help for Remote access

What is Remote Access service and what does it offer?

The Remote Access is a new service for registered users of SML providing an access to the external electronic information sources (EIS) subscribed by the library from any Internet location outside the library premises. Currently our library offers following external information sources through the remote access - EBSCO, OvidSP, ScienceDirect, SpringerLink a Wiley. The accessibility of full-texts is set by the licence agreement between Slovak Medical Library and the producer of a particular database.

How do I find a way to full-texts?

You can use the Remote Access – EIS menu on the SML mainpage and upon login you can get directly to the Remote Access site offering the accessible licensed databeses. It’s completely on your decision which database you are going to search. The only condition of remote access using is valid registration in Slovak Medical Library.
